We are a peer support program infused with mental health training and peer counseling curriculum aimed at decreasing suicide attempts and deaths, decreasing the stigma around mental illness within the education system, as well as create a culture of connectedness on campus.
What’s Included
Staff Training.
Staff are trained program start-up, program implementation, and program maintenance. Learn how to apply SPCP Standards and Ethics. This training is designed to help the adult professional learn the basic steps in putting together any peer-led program.
Student Training.
Students are trained on topics such as confidentiality, suicide intervention and prevention, Human Trafficking, mandated reporting, Peer Counseling Curriculum, as well as curriculum regarding mental health signs and symptoms to allow students to gain an understanding of how to work with students coming into the office with mental illness.
Community.
Experience our online learning communities that connect with your courses seamlessly, for an all-in-one student experience. Students and staff will have the ability to hold discussions on specific topics, facilitate introductions, or see important updates in dedicated virtual Spaces.
